    The site will be online for at least 5 years (until September 1st. 2011), however the aim is to keep the site online at least 5 years after the last ad has been sold.

  • What kind of ads can I create?

    You're (almost) completely free. The size of a free ad is 10x10pixels, but you can buy any multiple of it, too. You can buy one or several contiguous or separate blocks. You can design it as you like, be it a color, a symbol, a text or any photo (only softcore within the limits of the Terms and Conditions), as long as you own the rights on the used symbols/names/images.

  • Can I buy several non-contiguous blocks?

    Yes, of course. The only condition is, that each separate ad links to another separate photo page with another photo, preferably of another model (except, if you're a model yourself, in this case please use photos that are really different from each other). Only the first block (10x10 pixels) per Website is free.

  • I don't have my ad/photo page ready now. Can I make a reservation for space for my ad?

    Yes, for paid ads you can. See Reservation only for details. For free ads no reservations are not possible.

  • What should I consider when creating my photo page?

    Make it fast loading. The great thing about the Ten Thousand Girls Page is that people can click very fast from one sample page to another and see if they like it or not. If they like it, they will click on the link on your photo page to visit your website. If your page takes too long to load they will close the window and look at another one...

    Make it simple. People want to see large scale photos and they don't care, if you are a champion in web design and have worlds greatest ideas in graphic design. If they like the sample you show them here, they will click through to your website and that's the place where you can show them your sophisticated skills :-)

    Use simple and conform html, forbear from using unnecessary scripts or browser enhancements that not every browser supplies (flash etc.), don't use "page counters" etc. because they often slow down the display of the page

    If you use php let the display of the photo take place as much at the beginning of the script as possible and use flush() to already show the photo while the rest of the page is still generating/loading

    Make it readily identifiable where the visitor can proceed to your website (you can also link the image to your site)

  • What kind of picture should I use for my photo page?

    Use a photo that is characteristic of your internet offering. People will decide to visit your website if they like what they see and they will be disappointed, if your website shows completely different content than what they expect from the sample they have seen on your photo page.

    The photo must show a naked woman. Whether this is black-and-white or colour, alternativ artistic or fully commercial, full body or erotic portrait... it's up to you. Just keep it within the limits of "softcore". Genitals and nipples my be shown as long as there is no "sexual activity". As a matter of principle, art pictures (if clearly in evidence as art) may show "more" than commercial photos. If in doubt please refer to these definitions: 'softcore' and 'illegal contents'.

    Yes, here: samples for photo pages. Feel free to use and adapt these samples to your needs. Just make sure to change the photo(s) to your own ones and replace the texts and links for your own website.

  • Can I use pop-ups, pop-unders etc.?

    No. The great thing about the Ten Thousand Girls Page is that people can click very fast from one sample page to another and see if they like it or not. It's very annoying if a page tries to catch its visitors by unwanted pop-ups or by opening another page when closing a window. If your photo page uses such "tricks" then your ad and/or your link will be removed and you will not get a refund of any kind. For details please refer to the Terms and Conditions.

    This, of course, applies only to the photo page that is directly linked from your ad. If the user then clicks a link on your photo page to go to your website (or where ever you lead him or her), the user deliberately leaves the "sphere of influence" of the Ten Thousand Girls Page and you can use whatever you think that is appropriate...

  • Can I link to illegal contents from the photo page?

    No. I am strictly against child porn and other criminal contents. It is clear, that the Ten Thousand Girls Page links to adult related pages and I don't do any censorship, I don't apply any moralisation and I don't discuss wheather content is artistic or not. The users shall be free to find what ever they like and the Ten Thousand Girls Page shall provide the utmost variety, everyone to his taste - but just as far as it lies withing the limits of legality. Every user of the Ten Thousand Girls Page shall be able to count on the fact, that he or she will not be led to illegal contents from an ad on this page.

    "Naked women" are omnipresent in the web. My project shall be like a metaphor for the erotica on the internet and provide a comprehensive image of the ways how female nudes are presented in the web. The Ten Thousand Girls Page shall amuse, it shall attract many good visitors to its advertisers, but it shall by all means also inspire to reflect on the topic.

    Another important point is, that I know there are a lot of extremely interesting sites out there - but where? How can I find them? The most interesting of them might have completely different ideas than I have - how could I search for something I don't know? I really missed a page that just unites the whole variety of nudes that exists in the world of the internet, that will quickly and easily give me access to a sample photo in a large size, so that I can decide if I like to vivit the website or not.

  • A photo page opens pop-ups, covers the photo with advertisements, opens a new window when leaving or annoys me with other "tricks" I don't want...

    Please report this to me (see contact page for details).

    Before you report, please double check, that the annoying behaviour really occurs directly on the photo page that opens in a new window after clicking on an ad. If this is the case, I will remove the link upon such reports. However, if such behaviour only occurs later than on the photo page, i.e. after you have clicked somewhere on the photo page, I can do nothing. My "sphere of influence" ends when you leave the photo page which opens after clicking on an ad.

  • I can't see a large scale photo after clicking on a specific ad

    If you click on an ad, a new window opens containig a photo page with at least one large scale photo of a nude woman. All advertisers are bound to this by the Terms and Conditions. The large scale photo must be immediately visible without the need of scrolling, clicking etc.. If the ad you click doesn't lead to such a page, please report it to me (see contact page for details).
